Keep It to Yourself You Fools !
Breakfast with the boys.
After a little coffee and a lot of foolery,
I laid out the bases for Le Societe D'Epiphanonymous;
"the notion that upon having an epiphany, one ought keep it to one's self..."
I offered : "If a whore had her first orgasm and called out God's name;
One could say it was an Epiphamonius Moment in her life!
Bob noted that:
" If a moment of self-realization has been overlooked, it was an Epiphamissed !
Naturally I answered, "Yet the study of a missed, or unfathomable Epiphany,
would most certainly fall into the category of Epiphamystery and be the domain of Epiphamystics."
Todd, being trained in the Law and Construation, allowed that:
" admittance TO the Society would be by definition,
an admission and result OF a personal epiphany ;
and therefore be automatic grounds for expulsion FROM the society !
"Genius !"......all agreed.
(For to do otherwise would have been overtly wise, yet self-incriminating;
serving as grounds for immediate inclusion/exclusion from the society.)
He noted that a person given to constant Epiphany would be an Epiphanatic.
I answered:
"But only if the Epiphanies are real; else they would be but mere, Epiphantasies."
And so breakfast went:" Eggs and Fools"... over far too easily...
We hadn't had enou' coffee to fully comprehend our new status;
and like the whore left giddy upon finding God in the sack after a commercial six inch tango;
We were left drained and in anticipation of our next epiphamonious moment...or not.
